Inclusion First
We believe every child—regardless of ability, background, or location—deserves equal access to quality education and opportunities. Inclusion isn’t a program for us; it’s the foundation of everything we do.

About Us
The Amom Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the U.S. and a registered NGO in Cameroon, founded by Afowiri “Kitz” Fondzenyuy. For over 18 years, we have worked at the intersection of education, inclusion, and community empowerment, reaching more than 18,000 children in rural Cameroon. We were born from a simple but powerful belief: every child, regardless of background or ability, deserves the chance to learn, thrive, and shape their future. From textbook donations in remote villages to building Cameroon’s first Autism Center, our work has always been about breaking barriers to education and giving children the tools to succeed.
Who We Are
We exist to bridge learning gaps, advocate for neurodiverse education, and create opportunities where they are needed most. We do this through:
A world where no child is left behind—where inclusion is the standard, not an exception; where communities are empowered to lead their own transformation; and where culture, sports, and education unite to build a brighter future.
The Amom Foundation gave birth to the Toghu Marathoner—a global cultural-sports brand using running to inspire change. Through Toghu Virtual Races, we unite runners worldwide to raise funds for education, autism awareness, and community projects. Each mile run and each medal earned brings us closer to building bridges—both literal and figurative—between opportunity and those who need it most.
Implementing Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) and autism-friendly approaches to ensure every child learns at their own pace.
Funding tuition, therapy, school supplies, and teacher training for children and educators in underserved communities.
Workshops and coaching to build inclusive classrooms and equip caregivers to support neurodiverse children.
Public campaigns, podcasts, and outreach to raise awareness about autism, neurodiversity, and inclusive education in Cameroon and beyond.
Global Toghu-themed races to support education projects and amplify African culture through running and storytelling.
Sales from branded merchandise and African BBQ Sauce directly fund our school supply drives and special needs support.
We believe every child—regardless of ability, background, or location—deserves equal access to quality education and opportunities.
Inclusion isn’t a program for us; it’s the foundation of everything we do.
Lasting change comes when communities lead their own transformation. We work hand in hand with parents, teachers, and local leaders to ensure ownership,
sustainability, and impact.
We are accountable to the children and communities we serve, to our partners, and to every donor who trusts us.
Every decision is guided by honesty, openness, and responsible stewardship of resources.
