Two Bridges Reconnect Ngondzen
Before this project, the deteriorated Tsenmah and Ndzenkov bridges became dangerous during the rainy season. Cars and motorcycles could not cross, children struggled to reach school, farmers had difficulty transporting produce, and families risked being cut off from markets, healthcare and neighbouring communities. Funds raised through Afowiri Kizito Fondzenyuy’s 2024 Tokyo Marathon campaign were transformed into two completed bridges through a partnership between AMOM Foundation and the Ngondzen Development and Cultural Association. Commissioned in November 2025, the structures now provide safer, more reliable passage for schoolchildren, farmers, traders, pregnant women and families. This is donor impact at its clearest: generosity turned into infrastructure people can use every day.
